My Story

I have a true passion for photography. I am never ceased at the amazing beauty of a new life coming into this world during a birth, and a new family forming in that moment. I love seeing the personality unfold in small children with their families. I am touched by the beautiful romances in brand new and long-established couples. I am moved by the life and beauty in each person's story as told through smiles, laughs, and embraces.

 

It is said the eyes are the window to the soul, and after staring into hundreds of them through my lens and during editing, I believe it. I'm intrigued by the humblest details in images as I work on them--from a reflection in the pupil of the eye to the colors captured in the grass. It is a complex tapestry that I have the privilege to be a part of weaving.

 

I have a fantastically supportive husband, and three sweet, fun, and crazy kids. Our life is a melody of chaos, but it is beautiful and I wouldn't trade anything for it. I love animals, travel, time outside, peaceful quiet moments, the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.
